Instructions for removing the tape

E-mail Print PDF

Removal of WOO! fixing tape from painted, varnished or other hard surfaces without a trace.
(Marks cannot be avoided on wall-papered surfaces.)

Asennus

01 Panels can be taken off the wall by pulling up each corner; do this carefully to avoid damaging the wall.

02 The part of the tape left on the wall can be removed using a sharp knife or similar, as close as possible to the wall, without however damaging the surface.

03 Any remaining tape and the glue can be removed with the use of lemon juice from any food store.

04 Wet the remaining tape and glue and leave to be absorbed for a moment; this wetting is best done using a cloth of colour-fast cotton material.

05 Now rub the tape and glue with the cloth backwards and forwards and in alternate circular directions. Always keep the cloth damp. The tape will start to come away from the wall. Keep rubbing gently until all the tape and glue have been removed. It’s worth spending a bit of time getting every little bit and piece off.

It's easy and inexpensive to get fresh tape for re-siting your designs from your local WOO! distributor.

If you ever want to move the panels to a completely new location you’ll need to remove the tape from both the wall and panel; you can do this by using lemon juice, then simply re-apply new tape bought from the shop and start a new design somewhere else!
